🔵 CONNECTING COUNTERS 🟡
How to Play Connecting Counters
Connecting Counters is a free four-in-a-row strategy game played against the computer on a 6×6 grid.
Choose your counter colour and then tap a column to drop a counter. Your counter falls to the lowest available space in that column.
After your move, the computer drops one of its own counters.
How to Win
The first player to connect four counters in an unbroken line wins the game.
Your four counters can connect:
- Horizontally across the board
- Vertically up and down
- Diagonally in either direction
The 6×6 Board
The board contains 36 spaces arranged into six columns and six rows. Each side can place up to 18 counters if the board becomes completely full.
If every space is filled before either side connects four counters, the game ends in a draw.
Choosing a Counter Colour
You can play with red, yellow, green, blue or purple counters. The computer automatically receives a contrasting colour so both players remain easy to distinguish.
The default match is Blue vs Yellow.
Strategy
Look for opportunities to build several possible lines at once. You will also need to watch the computer's counters and block a column when it is close to connecting four.
A strong move can sometimes create two possible winning positions, leaving your opponent unable to block both.
