🎯 DARTS

How to Play Darts

Play a free online game of darts directly in your browser. Choose 301 for a traditional countdown challenge or use Free Throw mode to practise your aim and build a high score.

🎯 Aiming and Throwing

Tap anywhere on the dartboard to choose your target. A blue marker shows exactly where you are aiming.

Watch the moving Accuracy meter and press THROW. The closer the needle is to the centre of the meter when you throw, the more accurately your dart is likely to land.

301 Darts Rules

In 301 mode you begin with 301 points. Every dart you score is deducted from your remaining total. The aim is to reach exactly zero.

• You can throw up to three darts per visit.
• Singles score the number shown.
• Doubles score twice the number.
• Trebles score three times the number.
• The outer bull scores 25 points.
• The bullseye scores 50 points.
• You must reach exactly zero to win.
• Your final dart must land on a double.

What is a Bust?

Your visit is a bust if your remaining score goes below zero, you leave exactly 1 point, or you reach zero without finishing on a double.

After a bust, your score returns to the total you had at the beginning of that visit.

🔥 Free Throw Mode

Free Throw mode has no checkout requirement and no score limit. Keep throwing darts for as long as you want and try to improve your scoring.

The game tracks your total number of darts, your three-dart average and your highest scoring visit.

Darts Scoring Guide

The dartboard is divided into numbered sections from 1 to 20. Your score depends on both the number and the part of that section where your dart lands.

• Single: scores the number hit.
• Double: scores twice the number hit.
• Treble: scores three times the number hit.
• Outer Bull: scores 25 points.
• Bullseye: scores 50 points.

The highest possible score with three darts is 180, made by hitting treble 20 three times.
