How to Play Fishing Bogey

Fishing Bogey is a slow and relaxing lakeside fishing game. Buy a lake permit, cast your line and wait for a fish to bite.

Fishing

• Hold CAST to build casting power and release it to throw your float into the lake.
• Wait for a bite and tap REEL before the fish escapes.
• Once hooked, hold and release REEL to control the line tension.
• Keep the marker away from the extreme ends of the tension bar while bringing the fish in.
• Every landed fish immediately earns Gold. Larger and rarer fish can be worth more.

Lake Permits

Fishing requires a valid permit. A day permit costs 5 Gold and lasts until midnight. A seven-day permit costs 25 Gold and covers seven calendar days.

Cabin

Your lakeside cabin costs 10 Gold in rent each in-game day. If you cannot afford the rent immediately, it remains outstanding rather than ending the game.

Save 1,000 Gold and you can buy the cabin permanently. Once the cabin belongs to you, there is no more daily rent.

Tackle Shop

Gold can also be spent on permanent fishing rod upgrades. Better rods widen the safe section of the line tension bar, making difficult fish a little easier to land.
