About Virtual Shopkeeper

Virtual Shopkeeper is a free fictional shop management game. Choose your opening hours, buy stock from the warehouse, serve randomly generated customers and try to keep your shop profitable. Weather, seasons and customer demand can all affect your trading day.

How to Play

Choose when your shop opens and closes and press Start Day. The fictional game clock then runs automatically throughout the trading day. You can also use the Next 15 Min button when you want to move ahead faster. Customers may randomly visit while the shop is open.

When the shop is closed, the world continues moving at an accelerated rate. Night falls gradually from around 20:00, stars appear after dusk, and dawn begins before 06:00. The clock stops at the following day's selected opening time and waits for you to press Start Day.

The warehouse is available between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday. Game time pauses while you are inside the warehouse, allowing you to choose and purchase stock before returning to your shop.

Longer opening hours cost more to operate, so staying open for longer does not automatically mean making more Gold. Save enough and you can unlock permanent shop upgrades.

Game Notice

Virtual Shopkeeper is an entertainment and management simulation. Gold, product prices, customers, rent, operating costs, licences, upgrades, demand and weather effects are fictional game mechanics. Customer activity is randomly generated. There is no real-money wagering, purchasing, redemption, cash prize or gambling element.
