KLONDIKE • CLASSIC CARD GAME
Solitaire is the classic single-player card game also commonly known as Klondike Solitaire. The aim is to move all 52 playing cards into four foundation piles, arranging each suit from Ace through to King.
This free browser version of Solitaire uses draw-one rules and is designed to work on desktop computers, phones and tablets without requiring a download.
The game begins with seven columns called the tableau. The first column contains one card, the second contains two, and this continues until the seventh column contains seven cards. Only the top card of each column begins face up.
The remaining cards form the stock pile. Tap the stock to turn over cards into the waste pile and use them whenever they provide a legal move.
The four foundation piles are built separately by suit. Each foundation begins with an Ace, followed by 2, 3, 4 and so on until the King is placed on top.
You win when every card has been successfully moved to the foundations.
Bogey Games Solitaire uses a tap-based control system designed for smaller screens. Tap the card or sequence you want to move and then tap the exact destination. This allows you to choose between multiple legal moves without having to drag a long stack of cards across the screen.
Try to uncover face-down tableau cards whenever possible. Opening an empty column can also be valuable because it provides space for a King and its sequence. Avoid automatically moving every available card to the foundations if keeping that card in the tableau could help uncover another card.
